DESCRIPTION:
The target heart rate calculator determines your target heart rate based on
your age. This tool helps you get the most from your
cardiovascular workouts. Enter your age, then choose the number of
seconds and select the "Calculate" button. The tool
calculates the range your heart rate should be in while
exercising. Your heart rate should not exceed the maximum
specified at the bottom. For example, if you enter an age of 34
and select "15 seconds", the tool will calculate a range from
23 to 32, and a maximum rate of 46. Source: American Heart
