STATISTICS TOOL

  Back

DESCRIPTION:

This tool calculates statistics using data entered in the journal during a specified date range.  For each journal category, it creates a six-column table containing the name of each data field, the number of times that field was entered, followed by the minimum, maximum, average and total.  In cases where certain columns do not apply, a dash ("-") is shown.  Fields that have no data, and fields for which statistics cannot be generated (such as notes), are excluded.  For example, if you only record distance and time for each workout, only two rows will appear in the statistics table.

Tables also include counts, such as the of times you worked out at a particular gym, ran a certain route or did a specific exercise.  You can easily see total hours and mileage for bicycles, running shoes and other equipment.  Every custom list (lists that can be edited in the journal), will be included too.
Use the "weekly" check box to show statistics for each week in the specified date range.  Anytime an option is changed, the statistics table will instantly update.  This table can be copied and pasted into other applications.  Simply select the lines you want with the mouse, then use Command-c to copy them.
