DESCRIPTION:
Use the recipe manager to create and manage a list of food recipes.
To manage a large number of items, information is organized in a
tree view. Each category is represented by a folder and each
recipe is shown as a bulleted item. Folders can hold an unlimited
number of recipes and sub-folders.
This tool is divided into two parts. Recipes and folders are shown
in the top half of the screen and details about each item are shown in the
tabbed panels below. When you first install Weightmania, the recipe
manager is pre-initialized with a list of general categories. These folders are initially empty. You can use them to organize your
recipes or delete them altogether. Any object can be renamed and any object can be deleted except the root folder.
Folders and recipe items can also be cut, copied and pasted to other
folders in the same tree. Right-click (on a Mac, press the mouse button while holding the Control key) directly on the tree to view a
popup menu with special options.
Use the buttons below to create, add, modify and delete
recipes and folders. To begin, select "New Folder" or
"New Item". This adds a new object to the folder selected
above. Click once on the new item to modify
it. This copies all of the information about the selected object to
the fields below. Every object requires a name, but all other fields
are optional. Names do not have be unique (multiple folders and
recipes can share the same name). When you are finished editing an
item, select "Modify" to add your changes to the tree
above. If an item has been modified correctly, all of the tab fields
will clear.
In the recipe manager, there
are four tabbed panes labeled "Description", "Recipe",
"Directions" and "Photos". These tabs are described below. Note:
To increase viewable space, adjust the divider (the gray separator that
divides the top half of the window from the bottom half) up or down with
the mouse.
