 DESCRIPTION:

A profile must be created for each user or person that you want to track. Profiles include personal information, a fitness assessment, goals, names of databases, preferences and notes. They make it easy to track multiple users, share databases and monitor progress. Weightmania Pro lets you create up to five profiles. To create and edit profiles, use the "Setup..." button in the upper right corner of the main application screen (next to the user profile selection menu). This option is also available on the main
      "Edit" menu.

The profile editor is divided into two parts. In the top half of the screen, existing profiles are listed in alphabetical order. The bottom half of the screen displays information for each profile using tabbed panels. These include "Personal", "Fitness", "General Goals", "Nutrient Goals", "Databases", "Preferences" and "Notes".  It also provides buttons to create, modify and delete profiles. These are described in the sections below.

Select "New" to create a blank profile. This clears and enables all of the tabbed panels. For each profile, you must enter a unique first or last name. All other fields are optional. When you're finished, select "Add" to add it to the list above. When a profile has been added correctly, all of the tab fields will clear and turn gray.

To view data for an existing profile, simply click on its name in the profile list. Data for that profile will be shown in the tabbed panels below. To modify an existing profile, click on its name in the profile list, change the information in the tabs below and select "Modify". When a profile has been modified correctly, all of the tab fields will clear and turn gray. To remove a profile, click on its name and select "Delete".

Profiles are automatically saved when you exit the profile editor. To properly use Weightmania, at least one profile must always be defined. If all of the profiles are deleted, Weightmania will prompt you to create a new, basic profile (like you did when you first ran this software).

automatically the first time a profile is created.  To share a database between several profiles, use the same name. Use a unique name to keep it private. For example, you can share a favorites list, custom food database or list of exercises, but keep each person's journal private. By default, all of the databases are shared, except the journal.
Use the "Browse..." button to locate a database or enter a new
name.   Note:  Changing database filenames is not recommended unless you need to make them private for each profile.

                        meals, measurements, general information and
photos.  Use the journal tool to edit this
database.  By default, this database is always assigned a
unique name to prevent it from being shared. |
              | Custom Foods | Specifies
the name of the custom food database.  This database stores custom
foods not included in the built-in 30,000 food database.  To edit this database, select the
"Custom Food Database..." option under the

the name of the custom food database.  This database stores

group of foods or meals under one name.  Later,
they can be inserted into any meal table to save
time.  To edit this database, select the "Meal

              | Workout
                Programs | Specifies
the name of the custom food database.  This database stores
pre-defined weight training programs.  This lets you
save a weight training workout under one name.
Later, an entire workout can be entered in one-mouse
click.  To edit this database, select the "Predefined Workouts (Programs)..." option under the main "Edit"
                menu. |
              | Favorites | Specifies
the name of the custom food database.  This database stores a list of
the foods (and all of their nutrients) that you eat most
often.  To edit this database, drag and drop food
between the meal table and favorites list on the journal
                        tool Nutrition tab. |
              | Exercises | Specifies
the name of the exercise database.  This database stores a list of
exercises.  For now, these are used in weight training
tables.  To edit this database, select the "Add
Exercises..." button on any weight training workout
form or select the appropriate option under the main "Edit" menu. |
