CREATING AND EDITING PROFILES
  Back

DESCRIPTION:

A profile must be created for each user or person that you want to track. Profiles include personal information, a fitness assessment, goals, names of databases, preferences and notes. They make it easy to track multiple users, share databases and monitor progress. Weightmania Pro lets you create up to five profiles. To create and edit profiles, use the "Setup..." button in the upper right corner of the main application screen (next to the user profile selection menu). This option is also available on the main "Edit" menu.

The profile editor is divided into two parts. In the top half of the screen, existing profiles are listed in alphabetical order. The bottom half of the screen displays information for each profile using tabbed panels. These include "Personal", "Fitness", "General Goals", "Nutrient Goals", "Databases", "Preferences" and "Notes".  It also provides buttons to create, modify and delete profiles. These are described in the sections below.

Select "New" to create a blank profile. This clears and enables all of the tabbed panels. For each profile, you must enter a unique first or last name. All other fields are optional. When you're finished, select "Add" to add it to the list above. When a profile has been added correctly, all of the tab fields will clear and turn gray.

To view data for an existing profile, simply click on its name in the profile list. Data for that profile will be shown in the tabbed panels below. To modify an existing profile, click on its name in the profile list, change the information in the tabs below and select "Modify". When a profile has been modified correctly, all of the tab fields will clear and turn gray. To remove a profile, click on its name and select "Delete".

Profiles are automatically saved when you exit the profile editor. To properly use Weightmania, at least one profile must always be defined. If all of the profiles are deleted, Weightmania will prompt you to create a new, basic profile (like you did when you first ran this software).

BUTTONS:

New Clears and enables the fields below to allow you to enter a new profile. You must enter a unique first or last name, but all other fields are optional.
Add Adds a new profile to the list above. Profiles are sorted alphabetically. When a profile has been added correctly, all of the tab fields will clear and turn gray.
