CUSTOMIZING MENUS

Back

DESCRIPTION:

Nearly all journal menus can be customized using the Edit List tool.  This includes all of the drop-down menus on workout forms.  You can edit meal types, workout types, locations, muscle groups, exercises and more.  For example, you can create a custom list of  food categories or meal types.

Click on the "Add" button next to any drop-down menu to invoke the editor.  For weight training and meal table menus, the "Add" buttons appear at the bottom.  By default, some menus are pre-initialized when the journal is created.  For example, the "Meal Type" menu already contains "Breakfast", "Lunch", "Dinner" and "Snack".  These choices can be modified or removed at any time.

Custom lists are stored in the journal database.  If more than one person is using the same copy of Weightmania, each journal will have its own custom menus.  You can create gray comments in any list by adding two minus signs (--) before an item description.  Fields and buttons tool are described below.

Note:  Right-click (on a Mac, press the mouse button while holding the Control key) on the item list to display a popup menu with more options.  This makes it easy to add and arrange new items.
